A visit to deli Il Sogno is an all round Italian experience. Seven years ago, Il Sogno opened its doors in Amerongen, and recently branched out to Amsterdam. From noon until late at night you can enjoy real Italian, sustainable and biological products. In addition to a variety of books, fashion accessories and delicacies, like wine, chocolate and oils, there are also changing art exhibitions and musical performances. Unlike in Amerongen, at the Amsterdam branch of Il Sogno you can also enjoy a cup of fragrant e Bocca coffee, real Italian ice cream or pizza and ravioli from an Italian chef. Amsterdam has gained an Italian concept store with a great atmosphere!
Assortment Il Sogno is a dream for Italian specialty lovers. That’s no coincidence, since "Il Sogno" means dream in Italian! Everything here comes directly from Italy: Italian specialties such as fresh pizza from the stone oven, lasagna, ravioli, ice cream, tiramisu, coffee, chocolate, wine and olive oil.
Besides the delicious pizzas that are served from 17:00, Il Sogno Amsterdam also serves a great lunch; Il Panino ! Everyday from 12:00, the most delicious
Italian pastries and sandwiches are prepared. In addition, the most perfect espresso and creamy cappuccino will make you live the Italian dream… The store consists of two parts. One half is the shop , the other is the food section or cafe / restaurant.
Il Sogno’s food is presented as beautifully as the Italian products it has offers. You will find something for every budget. From luxury leather bags to smaller goodies. You will be back for more!
Atmosphere The atmosphere at Il Sogno is open, warm, relaxed and casual. If you arrive with no appetite, then you will certainly get one at the sight and smell of all the typical Italian delicacies!
Brands GABS, Mywalit, Giorgio Fedon, Ciak, Leone, Trevisi Creazioni. Since early December, the delicious & famous Panettone is available. Combined with a delicious sweet wine (Moscato d’ Asti), it makes a traditional ideal Christmas present.

My next meeting with my friends will be at Il Sogno. I discovered it only yesterday and I fell in love with it. The athmosfere is so warm, welcoming and different: you have the delicious pizza, nice art and books around you and other things that you can shop on your way out, video projections and live music sometimes. I Frequently go there with my daughter who is in love with Ice cream while I enjoy one of their delicious capuccinos.I love the atmosphere, with its mix of Italian delicatesses, Art, beautiful bags and the Pizza oven at the entrance. The staff is very welcoming and in summer time its lovely sitting outside escaping the bussieness of the Nieuwmarkt square. …
