Anxiety and Expat Life

In my work as a psychologist in Amsterdam, I often help and support people with anxiety disorders: panic attacks, chronic agitation, stress, psycho-physical tensions, insomnia, etc.
All these conditions are becoming more and more frequent and, indeed, very present in our daily life. They are no longer alterations or disorders, but rather normal things: “I’m stressed out!”; “I can’t handle it anymore!”; “What a hectic life, always in a rush!”; “I am completely burnt out!”

Ubuntu, the philosophy of forgiveness and reconciliation.

Nelson Mandela, a man who cannot simply be described by words. December 5th was the day that he left this earthly world at the honorable age of 95. The world lost a great personality that day. A man who taught us how powerful a mind can be and what we can overcome if we are capable to think and especially to act from something that is bigger than you.

Yoga For Runners – A Beginner’s Experience

This InLivin’ reporter, who is neither a yogi nor a runner (but an avid walker on many paths to the Good Life) followed a yoga class taught by the founder of Yoga 4 Runners, Kyrin Hall.
